I don't know the guy that posted this but I sure appreciate him doing so. What struck me as a little funny is that the advice came from a man. It's kind of crazy, today, that this type of advice must be issued to women who are single and dating. Why do we have to get that specific?
If I ask you are you dating someone, honesty doesn't come to you first?! Just like if I tell you or ask you to not tell "anybody" what I'm about to tell you then does that mean it's okay for you to tell "somebody" ?! I mean... do you really get it? It's quite frustrating in the dating world and asking 6 different questions just to get 1 answer is almost like talking to a child. A child is going to answer the same all of the time. So you have to ask them a bunch of questions in order to get a real answer because they don't understand.
Children focus on "yes" or "no". But an adult shouldn't think that it is humorous or savvy to answer questions in "general" when you know what's actually being asked.
I'm asking: are you seeing anyone? Are you laying up with somebody? Are you spending your time and money on someone? Are you working on a connection with someone? Are you by yourself? To ask, "Are you dating someone?" should mean all of those questions! I shouldn't have to break that down into 20 questions just to be on the safe side.
So, since it has been proven that dating isn't that easy, get your questions together. Make a list of important questions and please make sure you are specifically specific.. LOL!
